Local Casting Setup

Meta Quest Developer Hub (MQDH) ships a standalone Casting.exe binary that streams a clean VR view directly from the headset to your PC over ADB — no Meta account, no internet connection, and no cloud relay required. The stream runs entirely over USB or WiFi ADB, making it suitable for classroom or lab use where login-free, offline operation is required.

Download and install Meta Quest Developer Hub on the casting PC:

Only the installation is needed — you don't need to log in or run MQDH itself. The cast command invokes Casting.exe directly, bypassing the MQDH UI entirely.

Click a button below to copy the cast command for that device to your clipboard, then paste it into a terminal on the casting PC. A fresh session UUID is generated each time you click.

• The headset must be connected via USB or WiFi ADB to the PC running the cast.
• MQDHService.apk must be installed on the headset — MQDH installs it automatically on first connection.
• No internet or Meta account login required — casting is fully local over ADB.
